#22 Masaman Curry: Masaman coconut milk curry w onions, potatoes, pineapple w beef - 2

J's comment > watery curry, flavor could definitely be stronger; nowhere near as yummy as last time; beef? couldn't tell the diff between this and the pork in the panang curry below as they were both so tough; needs a lot more pineapple

#23 Panang Curry cooked in coconut milk, panang curry paste, ground peanut w pork - 2

J's comment > decent peanut flavor; another avg curry worth forgetting about

#8 Deep fried chicken wings: Thai style deep fried marinade chicken wing served w Thai sweet sour sauce - 2

J's comment > overcooked wings, but still a smidgen juicy, hence it wasn't a complete write off; skin slightly crisp

#14 Som Tum: Shredded green papaya, tomatoes, green beans, ground peanuts, fresh chilies & lime juice - 2

J's comment > your basic avg papaya salad, OK use of the dressing, but nothing outstanding

#36 Pad Thai: Stir-fried thin rice noodles w tamarind sauce, scramble egg, bean sprouts, green onions, tofu and ground peanuts w chicken - 2

J's comment > noodles overcooked, almost mushy; what egg? you don't see it and I didn't taste it; chicken dry

#33 Crispy fish (whole tilapia) topped w home-made sauce prepared w chili paste, mushroom, lime leaves, onions, bell peppers & sweet basil leaves - 2

J's comment > fish was actually completely deboned before stir fried (was expecting the whole fish to remain intact); flavor OK, slightly overdone

Extra Comment
According to their website, Thai Cafe is currently looking for two new Thai chefs. Which probably explains why the food is so mediocre now.
