Caramel, banana pastry cream, coffee whip, choux - 2

J's comment > not bad; decent choux, not too hard or soft; lots of banana cream and whip, but the flavors of banana and coffee could be stronger

Savarin: Dark rum soaked brioche, fresh seasonal fruit, whipped cream - 1

J's comment > slightly firmer than expected from previous visits, also not as much rum, all this would have still been passable, but it was also stale... I took it back and got the banana coffee choux above instead

#51 The Madagascar: Base of this hot chocolate is 68% small plantation Ampamakia chocolate by Valrhona served w a chocolate caramel - 2

J's comment > not bad; slightly too much milk to chocolate; sadly nowhere as addictive as last year's Trio of Chocolate or 2013's One in a Million; Available until Jan 28 as part of the 2015 Hot Chocolate Festival
