Faubourg on Hornby

Croissant - 2+

J's comment > super flaky and soft; I saw these coming out of the oven (actually I smelled them first, the butter... :D); a worthy rival to Bel Cafe's croissant

Croque-Monsieur w black forest ham, gruyere cheese and bechamel - 2

J's comment > served warm; good melty cheese, but needs even more cheese in ratio to the bread; crust hard and not worth the trouble

Blueberry tart - 2

J's comment > not bad; excellent blueberries (ie not sour and plump); tart OK, crisp but not flaky; custard not too sweet, a touch too soft

Chocolate decadent mousse - 2

J's comment > cookie on top (and bottom) too thick and not crumbly at all, making it hard to cut through with your fork, so you end up w the mousse all squished out; mousse OK, not particularly light nor heavy
