Duck Roti: Roasted duck, glazed grapes & apples, duck sauce - 2

J's comment > not bad; tender and flavorful duck; grapes and apples quite juicy; duck sauce rich, not as salty as last visit (we asked our server when ordering to tone down the salt factor on all the dishes and thankfully this request was respected)

Braised Short Ribs: Slow braised beef short ribs, peppercorn sauce, honey glazed carrots - 2

J's comment > not bad; beef was very tender and flavorful; addictive tasty sauce (our table soaked an entire loaf of bread up with the sauce)

Gigot: 12h braised lamb legs in red wine and mirepoix - 2

J's comment > not bad; very tender and juicy lamb, falls off the bone, not too gamey; sauce a touch weak, more like soup

Chicken Fricassee: Chicken legs, tomato confit, preserved lemon - 2

J's comment > tender chicken, but a touch dry; not as impressive as previous visits; sauce a touch spicy

Red Beet Salad: Roasted beet roots, dijon dressing, parmesan shaving, candied pecans - 2

J's comment > tender beets, exactly the way I like them

Mashed potatoes - 2

J's comment > decent, creamy mash; FYI the deep fryer broke down, hence Linh Cafe subbed all fries w mash

Couscous - 2

J's comment > avg couscous, not too mushy, not too dry

Bread & Butter - 2

J's comment > exterior of baguette a touch chewy, but center very spongy and soft; FYI Linh Cafe makes its own baguette; these came w the entrees, compliments of the chef

Duck Liver: Sautéed duck liver in creamy dijon mustard sauce - 1

J's comment > duck liver very smelly (but the way it's supposed to be according to the other folks at the table); I was expecting a flavor more along the lines of foie; the mustard sauce was OK though, not spicy actually

Three Chocolate Mousse - 2

J's comment > cake a touch thicker and denser than a 'mousse' should be; tasted a few sugar granules that weren't completely dissolved; passable dessert
