#72 Puple yam paste glutinous rice ball w syrup dressing - 2

J's comment > not bad; excellent crisp exterior with mochi center, strong taro flavor, not greasy


#132 Deep fried egg tofu w spicy sauce - 2

J's comment > not bad; very tender and soft tofu; the 'spicy' sauce was sadly just the stuff from the bottle which isn't even spicy; served lukewarm


#135 Deep fried chicken knee w spicy salt & pepper - 2

J's comment > not bad; good fry and balance of actual chicken meat and cartilage; seasoning OK; sadly, another lukewarm dish


#40 Crystal shrimp dumplings - 2

J's comment > not bad; good wrapper but a touch thick, didn't tear except when I sunk my teeth in; shrimp flavorful and juicy


#131 Charcoal grilled pork cheek - 2

J's comment > flavor OK, section of the pork cheek not as marbly as the one from Fisherman's Terrace though; another lukewarm dish


#32 Baked barbecue pork pastry - 2

J's comment > pastry slightly thicker than the amt of filling but very flaky; filling OK; lukewarm...

J's comment > soft bun, but like the BBQ pastry above, too much dough to filling; same filling; another lukewarm dish... (wtf...)


#26 Deep fried seafood salad roll - 2

J's comment > good fry, crisp exterior; more mayo than seafood though; yes, this was lukewarm too


#25 Deep fried spring roll - 2

J's comment > avg spring rolls, crisp alright, but beyond that, nothing interesting


#49 Chinese donut rolled w steamed rice noodle - 2

J's comment > donut slightly doughy, but rice noodle passable


#61 Steamed shrimp, egg & chives dumplings - 2

J's comment > very sticky dumpling of veggies; essentially these were just veggie balls, passable veggies, but nothing I'd order again


#124 Pork spareribs in black vinegar - 2

J's comment > touch salty; I tasted more vinegar than pork


#142 Ginger & pork feet in sweeten black vinegar - 2

J's comment > pork hock needed to be cooked a lot longer, very firm (I like my pork feet tender and falling off the bone); slight hints of ginger but more sweet than anything else
