Chicken Chashu Bowl served w brown rice & salad - 2

J's comment > rice slightly nutty, not overcooked, just the way I like it; chicken tender but not very flavorful; needs more teriyaki sauce; entire bowl was room temp, not hot at all (staff gave the impression that they couldn't wait to kick everyone out - we ordered @ 7:40pm, Shishinori closes at 8pm)

Spicy teriyaki chicken avocado sub - 1

J's comment > atrocious... all I got was the spicy flavor and a whole lot of bread; you can see the chicken but can't taste it underneath all the spice; funny, the server actually asked how spicy I liked it and I said 'medium' - guess 'medium' really means 'so-spicy-you-can-forget-about-tasting-anything-else'; bread was chewy and not crisp at all

Spicy teriyaki beef avocado sub - 1

J's comment > same complaints as above, except there was hardly any beef at all in this 'sub'; FYI, last call for subs is 7pm, I called ahead to advise that I will be there at 7:30pm and if Shishinori could save me two subs - the server agreed;

Mini Rant
I get there at 7:15pm and the subs are already made. By the looks and feel of it, they have been sitting out for a while. I advised the server and said I had wanted it at 7:30pm, because if made earlier (case in point) the subs would get cold (room temp when I touched them @ 7:15pm). Server apologises. I ask for it to be reheated in the oven. Server advises that they have to shut down the oven at 7pm, hence the last call. Gee, would have been great if the person over the phone had warned me about this! I declined and ate my room temp sub as is.
