Coconut Green Curry w chicken: Boneless chicken, onion, garlic, peppers and lime leaves stew w house made green curry sauce and coconut milk - 2+

J's comment > loved the deep fried shrimp paste stuffed bread that was served on the side; bread was very crisp; very flavorful and slightly spicy green curry; chicken was tender and juicy (no easy feat); generous portion of chicken and everything except the actual curry; would have liked a lot more of the curry

Pork Jowl: Marinated pork jowl seasoning w citrus BBQ sauce (round 2) - 2

J's comment > not bad; very juicy pork jowl, not much flavor on its own (you have to dip it in the sauce provided) as the server advised the pork jowl is not marinated, but grilled straight up; I wasn't sold on the sauce either; FYI, the first one served was equally unflavorful, but also dry; we advised the server and that dish was replaced w this one; improvement, good to know this is what the dish is supposed to be like

Chicken in Grains of Paradise: Cilantro, cabbage, marinated boneless chicken served in special pepper-tree prickly ash sauce - 2

J's comment > juicy chicken, decent portion, but batter too thick and separated from the chicken completely; not too spicy

Spicy Citrus Seared Beef: Lightly seared beef steak served w mixed greens - 2

J's comment > very fusion; kinda like an Italian carpaccio/Japanese beef tataki w a 'sneaky heat' (phrase kudos to M.) that makes it Thai; on the sweet side; couldn't get the actual beef flavor under the sweet and (very) spicy; beef a touch chewy

Zesty Raw Fish: Thinly sliced raw fish dressed w zesty citrus sauce (snapper) - 2

J's comment > presentation similar to the beef above, but other than that a totally different dish; not much citrus nor fish flavor; all I tasted was garlic, but the fish was firm and fresh

Thai One Pad Thai: Ground chicken, bean curd cubes, dried shrimp, basil stir-fry w vermicelli hot sauce and fish paste - 2

J's comment > noodles well cooked, not overdone and mushy like some other places do it

Pork Jowl: Marinated pork jowl seasoning w citrus BBQ sauce (first round) - 2

J's comment > FYI, this is what the first round of the pork jowl looked like; in person / off camera, this pork jowl dish actually looked dry
