Deep fried chinese donut - 2+

Congee base - 2+

J's comment > chinese donuts very crisp, w perfect chewy texture in the center; excellent pairing w the flavorful congee; absolutely no comparison to the sub-par stuff @ other dim sum places (yes, even my beloved Fraser Court)

Baked BBQ pork bun - 2+

J's comment > loved the crisp on top of this bun; bun soft but a tad too much in ratio to the amt of BBQ pork inside; BBQ pork a touch on the fatty side, would have liked a more balanced fat to lean meat ratio as well

Baked egg custard tart - 2

J's comment > not bad; good flavor, not too eggy; a touch too much crust to filling though

Crystal Shrimp Dumpling - 2

J's comment > not bad; fresh and juicy shrimp and durable (but a tad thick) wrapper; on the other hand, I did like the chewy texture

Steamed shredded pig's stomach & Chicken feet w black bean & pepper - 2

J's comment > not bad; chicken feet cooked right! very soft and moist, not hard like how other dim sum places are serving these days; there were a few fronds of the pig's stomach at the bottom, but really, this was chicken feet galore

Steamed salty egg yolk bun - 2

J's comment > not bad; good texture in the center, ooey-gooey w just the right amt of sweet and salty flavors; too much bun to filling unfortunately

Steamed siu mai w fish roe - 2

J's comment > avg siu mai, nothing bad but nothing particularly good either
