Revuelta Pupusa: Mixed cheese, pork and beans - 2+

Queso Pupusa: Cheese - 2+

J's comment > perfectly cooked; ooey-gooey cheese w pork and beans in the Revuelta
on the inside (although more cheese than the other two); soft yet firm exterior wrapping everything together; same texture for the Queso, but sans pork and beans; (yes, it was so memorable from 2013 that we just had to order a whole stack of them :D)

Sopa de tortilla (Tortilla Soup): Chicken and avocado soup topped w crispy tortilla strips - 2

J's comment > not bad; very crisp tortillas; soup was OK, more to soak the tortilla in; chicken slightly dry and not much of it; avocados perfectly ripe though

Yuca con chicharron: Deep fried casava w curtido, salsa and diced pork - 2

J's comment > not bad; cassava cooked well, lightly crisp on the outside, but could be even softer on the inside; served at room temp though; pork was slightly smelly, but my dining partner found it OK; curtido looked and tasted wilted

Platanos fritos (fried plantain) w cream - 3

J's comment > OMG.... lightly caramelized edges w the softest melty center; served piping hot; extremely addictive; a touch greasy too, but totally worth it

Fresh tamarind juice - 2

J's comment > not bad; not too sweet, w just the right amt of tamarind flavor
