Warak baked grape leaves stuffed with ground beef, with Mujadarah and salad - 2+
J's comment > juicy and flavorful warak (grape leaf wrapped ground beef); much better than the Greek version (dolmades) which is more rice and grape leaf than ground beef; rice OK, but freekeh below much better as a pairing; light sour notes, but nothing overwhelming |

Halloumi and grilled eggplant - 2
J's comment > not bad; tender eggplant; halloumi (grilled cheese) was a bit dry though; would have liked more sauce; pita soft |

Freekeh (toasted green wheat) with salad & lamb - 2
J's comment > lamb sadly dry, but nonetheless tender; freekeh texture like nutty brown rice (just the way I like it) |

Kunafah: Shredded dough stuffed w sheep cheese, baked and topped w raw pistachio and rose water syrup - 2+
J's comment > soft cheese w a slightly crusty top; good ratio of pistachio and syrup although I didn't get the rose water at all (it was just honey I swear); nonetheless, very well done |
